*   Mango is rolling out new lighter seats, giving 6 – 7,5 cm more legroom on its flights, and reducing carbon emissions!

*   The Cederberg Bukettraube 2012 is highly praised, even though the writer cannot spell the name of the variety!

*  Nigeria is the second fastest growing Champagne market in the world, and sells about 750000 bottles per year, more than sales in Russia and Mexico.  It is in the Top 20 of world champagne sales, and is the largest seller of the noble bubbly in Africa, followed by South Africa.

*   The City of Cape Town has embarked on a  R300000 project to improve street name signage, with street numbers per block specified, and has added 130  motorcycle bays as well as 35 disabled parking bays, to help reduce the wastage of petrol in driving unnecessarily to find addresses.

*   Coca Cola is the country’s favourite brand, and received the accolade at the Sunday Times Top Brands Survey 2013 awards ceremony last night.

*   Germany has issued a travel advisory to its citizens reports its news channel ZDF, discouraging all travel in all of Egypt until mid-September.  Will this benefit tourism to South Africa?
