X-ONE launches indestructible mobile phone screen protector!

imageI receive a variety of invitations to attend events, but the launch of X-ONE SOUTH AFRICA’s indestructible anti-shock mobile phone screen protectors at the showroom of Harley-Davidson Cape Town in Green Point last week has been one of the most interesting.

Using the same material which protects international military imagehelicopter blades, the Extreme Shock Eliminator anti-shock screen protector not only prevents a mobile phone screen from cracking when dropped, but it also has a range of other benefits:

#   It is shock resistant when dropped, preventing the mobile phone from cracking

#   It is puncture protected, in that it prevents a mobile phone against sharp objects piercing the screen

#   It is scratch resistant, the screen hardness as a result of the protector prevents scratches from showing.

#   It enhances photography, giving ‘crisp and optional image quality

#   The coat covering the screen lasts longer, feeling as good as new

#   The screen covered with the screen protector does not show smudges

#   There are minimal bubbles once the screen protector film has been applied.

#   The screen protector film can be removed to clean the phone, and then re-applied.

#   The screen protector retains its adhesiveness, allowing one to remove and reapply the cover frequently.

To prove the durability of the Mobile phone screen protector Kfm presenter Liezel van der Westhuizen hit the cellphone of X-ONE CEO Zubair Moolla with a hammer, and the screen did not crack!

We were shown beautiful leather cases for mobile phones, and because the first batch of mobile phone covers ran out at the event, the very gracious Zubair brought out a box of beautiful handmade genuine leather mobile phone cases. They are available in a choice of eel skin, buckskin, and cowhide, each packaged in an impressive wooden case, with a mobile phone screen imageprotector, and a product care instruction manual, all made in Hong Kong (main photograph top left).

The X-ONE products were displayed by models wearing Harley-Davidson clothing. MC Nick Darke has a voice which is uncannily similar to that of presenter Tim Thabethe of Kfm. He told me that a number of people have imagetold him.

We were invited to enjoy S. Pellegrino water, and coffees, and I was able to drink a dry cappuccino when I found a spoon for the barista to spoon the froth into my coffee. Platters of mini pizzas and fruit were served to the guests, with cupcakes available too.

Disclosure: We were spoilt with a goody bag containing a X-ONE screen protector, benefit mascara, discount vouchers on Harley-Davidson, benefit, and X-ONE products, a pore protection product, and a most beautiful tan cowhide leather mobile iPhone 7 case.
