Standard Bank Sweet Service Award! Tasha’s Sour Service Award!

The Sweet Service Award goes to Standard Bank Sea Point, and its Consultant Tamryn Paulsen, for her amazing service in opening new accounts for me when transferring my banking business from ABSA to Standard Bank, and for finding banking options that offered the lowest bank charges and the highest rate on an investment. She also efficiently contacted each company I have debit orders with, providing the new bank details. It is a huge shame that she is leaving the bank today, to go back to study.  Continue reading →

Café 1904 Sweet Service Award; ABSA Sour Service Award!

The Sweet Service Award goes to Café 1904 in Hermanus, and its owners Johan and Endria Post, for making me a cappuccino despite having a break before their dinner service. It was just before 17h00, and all coffee shops in Hermanus were about to close. Dr Toni Bedford Sweet Service and ABSA Sour Service Award!

The Sweet Service Award goes to Dr Toni Bedford, who found my son a one hour dentist appointment slot when he made a very quick visit to Cape Town last week. One filling requires three visits to a dentist via the NHS in the UK, so getting two fillings done in an hour was a huge time saving and far cheaper too.  Continue reading →
