Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a cold grey and then rainy day, staying home all day, having picked up a cough; for a hard working day, Mondays always having the most work, added to which was writing a client newsletter; for some step walking in our garage; for surviving an alarm going off directly above my bedroom just after 2h00 this morning, when the clients of owner Magali Seguillon of EbbTide apartment 202 came back during Curfew 🥵; and for being healthy and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Gratitude for a cooler cloudy day; for a busy day, starting with a leg wax at the Skin Studio, for the exceptional service from Nicholas at the iStore in the Waterfront, in transferring my photographs and files from the old to the new iPad, for a German shop at Hartlief in Gardens, and fetching figs at Peppertree Café; for a power walk on my secret Bakoven path, with the 300 points earned finally getting me to reach my goal of exceeding the Discovery Points halfway mark of 25000, now reaching Silver ; and for being happy and healthy 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Monday 1 March 2021, Day 1 of Level 1, Day 341 of Lockdown 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for having a relaxed day; for having written my Blogpost for today last night after the President’s Speech; for a few drops of rain after thunder in the distance; for Henry helping me buy my first airtime/data via the Vodacom App, much cheaper than buying it via my Standard Bank App; for a walk through Bakoven, looking for a spade which Imtiaz had left at the public toilets 😱; for an afternoon snooze, still needing to catch up on weekend sleep; for a walk to Camps Bay to collect my Maverick 168 which Odwa had kept for me, not having more energy than walking as far as Mynt, picking up lots of litter left over from yesterday; for the wow 500 Discovery points I earned nevertheless, 15400 points so far this year, perhaps getting far more speed in my new Adidas shoes; for a catch up sunset snack chat on my terrace with Jenny Stephens; for my Bestie Llewellyn registering the website address www.whaletalesblog.com for me; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
