On Tuesday evening we were exposed to Vondeling wines, three wines of which we tasted two vintages each. The tasting was led by Jane Eedes, heading up Vondeling Sales & Marketing. Shimmy Beach Club Sweet Service and Vodacom Sour Service Awards!
The Sweet Service Award goes to Shimmy Beach Club and its GM Malcolm Moodie, its Deputy GM Stephan Fourie, the Shimmy Luxury Collection CEO Nicky van der Walt, and The Ritz GM Clayton Howard, for allowing me to see the fantastic Goldfish concert at Shimmy Beach Club earlier this week, and with it fantastic seating which enabled me to take excellent photographs and videos. It is a world class act, and it filled me with pride to see how far this talented duo has come. Impressive too was the ease of getting there with Uber, and then being shuttled to the Shimmy entrance.
