The Sweet Service Award goes to Shimmy Beach Club and its GM Malcolm Moodie, its Deputy GM Stephan Fourie, the Shimmy Luxury Collection CEO Nicky van der Walt, and The Ritz GM Clayton Howard, for allowing me to see the fantastic Goldfish concert at Shimmy Beach Club earlier this week, and with it fantastic seating which enabled me to take excellent photographs and videos. It is a world class act, and it filled me with pride to see how far this talented duo has come. Impressive too was the ease of getting there with Uber, and then being shuttled to the Shimmy entrance.
The Sour Service Award goes to the Vodacom branch in the Gardens Centre, not the first time that they have received a Sour Service Award. As Vodacom haphazardly send invoices, I have to go to this branch so that I can have an invoice printed, whereafter I pay it at ABSA in the same shopping centre. I was assisted by Charmonique, who told me straight out that the system was down. A colleague told her what to do to print the invoice. She tapped on the keyboard for quite some time, until she finally printed it. Throughout this process she was very rude, and when I aksed her for the detail sof the franchisee Francois she refused to provide them, instructing Erica, the hostess at the front desk, to not provide them. Erica was professional enough to provide them to me!
