Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a lovely rainy start to the day; warming up to become a humid day, but cold now and more rain on the way tomorrow; for zero Loadshedding today after a heavy shedding week 😱; for a working morning; for my Dinkel poppyseed roll stop; for enough time to have my favorite Appeltaart at Labotessa and seeing owner Johann du Plessis there; for a quick shop at Fideli’s, seeing the newly engaged owner Chef Judi Fourie there; for a good Status meeting for Anatoli and Utopia, doing so well ; so happy that clients of mine loved the JAN experience in Nice last night 🙏 for a refreshing walk to the Tidal Pool; and for being happy, healthy, and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#grateful for a beautiful day, feeling like summer at 17C, wearing shorts and a sleeveless top on my midday walk; for an uninterrupted sleep last night 🙏; for packing in a lot of writing and client work this morning, preparing for two Status meetings this afternoon; for my Dinkel poppyseed rolls being ready for me; for meeting a wonderful Facebook Friend Celia Mauerberger for the first time, who is so kind, supporting my Facebook Stories in the early hours of the day, at Frosted in Sea Point, where they make delicious cupcakes ❤️❤️❤️; for making myself the most cosy bed with a second duvet Continue reading →

#Grateful for a glorious day, sunny again after the rain yesterday, so warm that I wore a sleeveless top; for getting most of my work done early this morning so that I could get to Somerset Hospital by 10h00ish, for my vaccination; for celebrating the vaccination with a tea and apple tart treat at Labotessa, spoilt rotten there with a gift of their lovely French shampoo and conditioner; for a shop pop in at Fideli’s Deli; for getting into Home Affairs easily but a wasted effort 😱; for an energetic walk in my secret Bakoven lanes; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
