The Sweet Service Award goes to Labotessa Café, and its owner Johan du Plessis, for comping the Appeltaart and cream when I went there on Monday to celebrate the City of Cape Town Mayoral Civic Award which was handed over on Wale Street, not far from the Labotessa Hotel.
