The World’s 50 Best Restaurants were announced and celebrated in London this evening.
The 20th anniversary of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants was also celebrated at the awards ceremony.
Last week the 2022 World’s 50 Best Restaurants ranked from 51 – 100 were announced. La Colombe climbed up the ladder to number 56, while Wolfgat dropped from number 50 down to number 90, a huge shock.
As FYN Restaurant was not on the 51 – 100 List this year, it indicated that the restaurant had fallen out of the list or that it had jumped up into the World’s 50 Best Restaurant List. The latter was true.
An exciting and what is described as the most challenging chef competition to date, will be aired on Netflix on 20 November, and will project Cape Town Chef Ash Heeger, of recently renamed and relaunched Riverine Rabbit, onto the world cooking stage!
