I was alerted to the campaign by the Mushroom Farmers Association of South Africa in support of Breast Cancer Survivors through a media statement, informing that the Association is selling its mushrooms in pink punnets at all Pick n Pay stores around the country during October, R1 of every punnet sold going to #ReachforRecovery.
The media statement informed that mushrooms help prevent cancer in males and females if included in our daily diets.
Shopping at Pick n Pay soon thereafter, I bought two pink mushroom punnets at a reduced rate of R35. The mushrooms never tasted so good, feeling good for doing good for this campaign.
