Corona Gratitude đ
#Grateful for an even hotter day today, at 29C, before the temperature reverse begins tomorrow; for having such a fabulous roof over my head, with an amazing view, changing daily; for speaking to long-time friend Donoven Hammond Gloy in Maritzburg; for being able to essentials-shop today; for the fabulous service at our local Woolworths; for sleeping late after posting my Blogposts; for being able to dance and walk to Kfm, and to hear that DJ Carl Wastie and Zoe Brown retain their 4 hour slot, whilst other Kfm DJsâ slots have been reduced during Lockdown; for such lovely warm evenings, being able to have dinner by candlelight on my terrace; and for being fit and healthy. đđ Continue reading →
No matter how I am economizing my water usage, the water portion of my City of Cape Town bill seems to be increasing rather than decreasing. Three months ago my bill reflected a zero amount, and I regarded myself as Proudly Water Saving! As my water usage has decreased severely, now showering twice a week only, running the washing machine every ten days, saving all grey water for the plants and mopping and cleaning, it can only be a higher City charge that is creating an increase in my water bill! Worrying is that Day Zero is 100 days away, the date being brought forward continuously!
