The newly created Leeu Estates luxury boutique hotel is to open its doors in Franschhoek on 15 June, and is the flagship property in the Leeu Collection, which also comprises Leeu House and Le Quartier Français. Reservations for Leeu Estates have opened.
Leeu Estates is located just outside the Franschhoek village, and has 17 rooms, suites, and cottages on a 68 hectare property, shared with vineyards, fynbos, as well as landscaped gardens.
The renovated Manor House is the core of the luxury Boutique Hotel, and dates back to the 19th century. Accommodation is offered inside the Manor House, alongside it, as well as amongst the vineyards and gardens. Most rooms have fireplaces and terraces. Bedrooms have artwork and sculptures from around the world. Bathrooms feature marble fittings.
A Wine Studio allows guests to taste Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines, Leeu Collection owner Mr Analjit Singh being an investor in the wine company. Cuisine will be crafted with organic, seasonally-available and ethically-farmed produce. The venue is also available for private dinners, events, and functions. The Leeu Spa will offer massage and treatments inspired by Asian traditions, and has steam rooms, saunas, a splash pool, and a hair salon. Other facilities include a 15 meter heated infinity pool, and a gym. Guests can enjoy personal training and yoga. The Reading Room offers a large collection of books, and guests can enjoy the art collection and nature trails.
