Corona Lockdown Gratitude 🙏
#grateful for an upside down day, in a good way, starting with socializing in the morning and only finishing working and writing now; for a wonderful peaceful sleep last night; for two donations received for CAMPS BAY CLEAN, with a promise of a third to buy Gift more Pick n Pay gift cards 🙏; for an American Tourist Guiding client of two years ago confirming that he and a friend want to visit in March and asking me to design a Safari trip for them, a different kind of work to do in preparing a proposal for him 💙; for the loveliest tea meet at The Pottery with June Willy Temple, a most generous supporter of my Cleaning cause, also living in Camps Bay, and who gifted Gift at Christmas when he had just started, sharing so many stories, and a surprise that we have friends in the Overberg in common 💙; for lift engineers coming to check out our noisy lift, the braking system being above average noisy, and receiving all sorts of suggestions from them as to how to dampen the noise, something our service company NuLift has not managed to do in three years since I started complaining 😱; for a lovely birthday call with Michele Antelme, celebrating in Portugal; for an afternoon of posting for my clients, happy to go on a Bakoven walk with a fresh wind that blew the cobwebs away; for my cats sharing my bed every night, each one having his/her own spot, and such good company 😻😻; for eating my first cooked food, some scrambled egg, in five days; for a late chat with Naomi Herselman, whom I have not spoken to in ages; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙
My Blogpost for today happened last night already, when I saw the news that the European Union of 21 countries has lifted their travel bans on South Africa and its neighboring countries.

I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
