Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for rain and rain ☔️ , the Cape Town dams now at an average of 90%; for a break in the rain this afternoon, which allowed me to walk through Bakoven and Camps Bay, feeling wonderfully refreshed in the 13C outside, loving seeing images reflected in the puddles on the pavements, in a deserted suburb; for getting a lot of admin done today, and for organizing an English class school reunion for next week, being able to speak to each class member ; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
This morning I wrote the story about the Lunch which Gary Peterson and I enjoyed at Tintswalo Kitchen, reliving the amazing experience. 💙
The admin challenge I was meant to start today didn’t want to get going, an admin block, so I decided that it’s ok, and I’ll get stuck in tomorrow, when the sun shines again.
The cats stayed indoors almost all day, loving spending most of the day on my bed. Both love my electric blanket for a morning cuddle. Sometimes I’m sandwiched between the two of them.
The rain is back, and it’s another cold night. Some dancing 💃 to finish the steps and then off to my bed with a glass of 🍷.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, and lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
