Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a fabulous day; for a long sleep, with more deep sleep than I’ve had in ages, there being no disturbance at all, the noisy guests having checked out today 🧡🧡🧡; for getting work for my client meetings done; for the most wonderful rain overnight, during most of the day, and now again; for a good Anatoli meeting; followed by one with Utopia, doing a little winetasting, a red one, perfect for the weather; for meeting and interviewing the new Utopia Head Chef Dennis Luke, his wife working at Zest; for picking up some rolls at Kleinsky’s, and the lovely chocolate cake at Bokeh Continue reading →

#Grateful for a loooong sleep, over 8 hours long; for only one Loadshedding today, already done this morning, sleeping through the first half, and then walking the second half of it; for having a strawberry milkshake at the brand new Firefly Café, as they currently only stock Rooibos Tea, so I connected them to Dilmah (my favorite) via Instagram; for a second walk, through Bakoven; for a light drizzle most of the day, not stopping me from going outside; for not being sent to bed in the dark by Eskom at 20h00, as has happened twice in the past three days; for completing my steps of the day to Kfm; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →
