Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a beautiful sunny day even if it was quite windy, our first early Spring South Easter; for a long writing morning; for a walk to Camps Bay; for the Pick n Pay store manager lending me his Pick n Pay card so that I could make use of the special offer on their strawberries 🍓, only offered to customers with their Smart Card and not with my Discovery Pick n Pay card 🙏; for some admin issues related to the Hermanus house sale, and the apartment block; for a walk through Bakoven, where the wind felt more chilly; for some Sectional Title advice from Lucille; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙

My Blogpost was about the West Coast Roadtrip, a fabulous 24 hour trip, clearing all the Covid cobwebs out of my system. A pity that one has to return to reality.

A West Coast Road Trip: Cape Town – Darling – Malmesbury, rocking the daisies!

Whilst writing, I was listening to a Tourist Guiding webinar. I had the video switched off and the audio on, and wasn’t concentrating 100%. They went around the Zoom ‘room’ and then asked Chris a number of times if he/she had something to say, then using my surname. As I was still writing in my bed, and still had my pjs on, there was no way that I could participate…. oi vey 😱😂😊

This afternoon was horrid, with one of the Trustees being a bully, not accepting that I can set up a Power Audit for the building, when she thinks our Building Manager should do it, but it is not in his contract. She started shouting through the use of capital letters. I had enough, so I closed off the conversation with her. 🥵🥵🥵

I tried to walk off the horridness this afternoon, first to Camps Bay, sitting at my favorite Tidal Pool to let it melt away, and then to Bakoven, but then it returned to face me on my return home.

What a surprise to see Marc Lottering at Firefly, so I went inside to say hello, and he did a Selfie.

The cats have been at my side all day, happy to have me back home again. So much love. 😻😻

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, and lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
