Sunday 3 May 2020, Day 3 of Level 4 Lockdown, after 35 days of Lockdown Level 5. 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for the lovely rain that fell all night, yet stopped just in time for Exercise Time this morning, giving me a good hour walk; for bumping into Eddy Cassar on my walk, a former neighbour from across the road of my Camps Bay guest house, and on the committee of the Cape PR Consultants Forum with me many moons ago, now living in Mallorca and still having a house here, and for bumping into estate agent Bev Joffe who remembered showing me houses in Sea Point before I bought in Fresnaye 12 years ago, very complimentary about what I do in Camps Bay 🙏; for having the laziest Sunday since Lockdown, working from bed and snacking popcorn……; for growing the Food Delivery page to over 2000 members and in excess of 200 restaurants in one week, a big task as more and more restaurants decide to also offer food delivery, with a number of persons wanting to start lists like mine too…. 😱; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
Today the exercisers were small in number, few cyclists, and mainly runners, almost none wearing masks 🥵
Apple pancakes on the menu tonight, finally 🍎🍏. Jenny Stephens
Kfm presenter so irritating this afternoon, loving his own voice, so I had to switch to my playlist to dance.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier this week to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, and lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
