Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for all the rain overnight and this morning, the day clearing to a mostly sunny afternoon, perfect for going for a walk as far as Clifton 4th Beach, as well as a late afternoon one through Bakoven, bumping into Haakon and Thomas Bauerkรคmper, the most often seen exercisers since Lockdown began over 3 months ago, I wearing a short-sleeved top, it was so nice and warm; for being a busy ๐Ÿ this morning, having a deadline by which the Body Corporate AGM queries had to be sent to Sandak-Lewin 48 hours in advance, despite their Portfolio Manager still not having answered all my AGM questions sent to him a week ago, earning him a big fat Sour Service Award ๐Ÿ˜ก; for a long cat cuddle in bed this morning ๐Ÿฑ; for a long chat with my MasterChick Jenny Stephens; for dancing to my playlist and to Kfm; for my stress level dropping, measured by my Resting Heart Rate; for receiving a call from the lovely Law Enforcement Officer Ivor Ramsay, who is back to look after Camps Bay, even if just for a few more days; for another concert by Daniel Hope with his Hope @ Home on Tour, performed at the Monopol, formerly a Distillery in Berlin; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

#Grateful for more rain overnight and this morning, unbelievable how much has fallen this week, and lucky once again that by 7h30 it had stopped, just in time for Exercise; for very few garbage bags on my walk, only some in Clifton; for very few Exercisers today, probably what it will be like from Monday as it is spread out more; for the amazing proactive offer from local resident Margit Roberts to donate to Camps Bay Clean ๐Ÿ‘, when we saw each other on our walk this morning; for having the company of Minsky, who has settled in nicely after a week ๐Ÿฑ; for some sun therapy on the terrace this afternoon, making me feel much better; for a less busy day; for dancing to Kfm ๐Ÿ’ƒ; and for being fit and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →

Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for the copious amount of rain weโ€™ve had today, it still raining, and forecast to do so until tomorrow morning; for getting myself out of bed on a grey cold day, the rain holding back, until Exercise Time was done, making it very pleasant to walk, with very few exercisers; with not a single bag of garbage lying on a Victoria Road pavement in Camps Bay and Glen Beach, yesterdayโ€™s torn bags collected by the Council, and there being minimal litter ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘; for writing all day; for keeping warm by dancing ๐Ÿ’ƒ and drinking tea in between the writing; for a reasonable presentation by Madame Zol Zuma, with no surprises, but then the ability of restaurants to sell sealed bottles of alcohol from Monday onwards came out of the blue, allowed even by home-delivery; for a generous Olympus Mixed Grill delivered by Zeus Greek Yeros Bar in town, with a large helping of meat, offered by one of the members of the Facebook Food Delivery Group, I running a competition for them today; for the Facebook Group Restaurant list growing to 537, with 4300 plus members; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™ Continue reading →
