Friday 16 April 2022, Day 47 of Level 1 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for a 28C summer day, hotter than my App predicted, having all my doors open for the lovely fresh air now that it has cooled down a little; for a very relaxed day without meetings, focused on my work and writing this morning; for being so relaxed that I even washed the dishes 😱; for a lovely late afternoon power walk, tackling Houghton Road uphill between Victoria Road and Camps Bay Drive for the first time, getting good Cardio exertion and 300 Discovery points, and tagging a quick Woolies shop to it; for beautiful sunsets; for lovely dance music on Kfm; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
My Sweet Service Award went to The Apple iStore in the Waterfront. The Sour Service Award went to Shaw Academy, which sell online courses with devious marketing methods – AVOID 😡😡😡
Sweet Service Award goes to iStore; Sour Service Award goes to Shaw Academy!
I’m having a Pink Gin to celebrate the end of the working week. 🍹

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
