#Grateful for all the rain which fell today ☔️, and the 14C temperature, 10C down on yesterday, making for a relaxed peaceful long weekend day, and a late lie-in; for a visit by Paul Williams to buy SwitchBitch Book 3; for a refreshing walk through Camps Bay, passing on details of a car without license plates and license disc; for a shop at Woolworths, such friendly service there; for dancing to Kfm 💃; for Brian van Hansen for giving his time so generously to film our Jerusalema Dance Challenge yesterday, and for providing numerous edits of it ❤️❤️❤️; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙

Paul Williams found me on Facebook and asked if I was related to what was my dad’s name. We became Facebook Friends, and he shared that he had worked with my dad at Berg River Textiles in Paarl many many moons ago. He shared with my dad the love of playing the flute. How lovely to reconnect with my dad through him, and that he drove here all the way from Glencairn. 🙏💙

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, and lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
