Saturday 27 November 2021, Day 58 of Level 1 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#grateful for a cool grey wintery day, feeling colder than the 19C forecast for today, with a little rain this evening and drizzle at times; for posting for each of my clients this morning; for a catch up snooze this afternoon; for being able to assist my German tourists in planning their next 7 days here, after they heard last night that their Qatar flight back home was cancelled for today 😱, so I went to see them at the V&A Hotel, and they chose to go to Paternoster for the next few days, I booking them the Strandloper Hotel and negotiating a better rate for them, getting one night free, where after we had a bite to eat at the Ginja Restaurant in the hotel, happy that I can be of service to them, and looking forward to taking them on another tour later this week; for putting in petrol as month-end nears; and for being happy, healthy and free.
I heard some tourists speak German in our Camps Bay Woolies, so I asked them if they too were stuck in Cape Town. The poor lady almost burst into tears, so upset, not sure if their rebooked flight will happen next Saturday. 😷🥲
I tried to fetch my post at the Waterfront. There is no post because they are renovating the former Post Office. Yet our Post Boxes are still there. Just a note stuck to the wall. No email sent, despite having our details! Now it must be collected at Vlaeberg on Loop Street.😱

I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
