Tuesday 22 June 2021, Day 7 of Level 3 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Gratitude for a gorgeous day of lots of rain, but it stopping just when I had finished preparing for my meeting at the newkings boutique hotel and Zest Restaurant, Tuesdays being my busiest client day, allowing me to do a Bakoven walk; for a full hotel meeting and a half Zest meeting, guests arriving to dine; for photographing the hotel staff for a post; for having amazing hotel and restaurant owner clients; for a shop at Woolies in the Piazza da Luz, spending my gift voucher I received on Sunday, buying the last two packets of butternut, all of Sea Point clearly making soup tonight 😱; and for being happy, healthy, and free.
Sadly I can no longer express myself as freely as I always do in these posts ……. 😡
Great news is that the first new generation Woolworths Now Now is soon opening in the Piazza da Luz, where Simply Asia is until the end of the month.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, extended to 15 February on 11 January, extended but relaxed on 1 February, and relaxed back to Level 1 on 1 March 2021, moved back to Adjusted Level 2 on 31 May, and moved back to level 3 on 16 June, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
