The Sweet Service Award goes to Installation Solutions and its team led by Mansoor, who arrived on the same afternoon as I called to install a new sattelite dish for DEUKOM’s German TV service, now allowing us to receive 30 or more German radio and TV channels. Not only were the prices of his sattelite dishes and labour cheaper, but he also had stock of the dishes. He did the work efficiently, in a far quicker time than quoted for by other installers.
The Sour Service Award goes to Thrifty Car Rental at the Durban city centre branch, and its staff member Trinesh, for the rude service I received when I returned the rented car on Monday afternoon. He mumbled when I asked him whether he could see any damage on the car, and treated me with disrespect. There was no gratitude expressed that I had rented the car from the company (for the first time), or a goodbye when I left to find my Uber car.

Have to agree with your Sour Award for Thrifty. I thought that the service in Durban was disappointing, but Lanseria was far worse. Will not use them again. Hertz are my choice at the moment, so far so good.
Thank you for sharing your experience Gordon.
