KLM Airlines will be operating daily flights between Amsterdam and Cape Town from 22 July.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of flying between the two cities, the airline will increase the flight frequency between the cities to ten per week from November, the airline has announced.
Passengers on flights from Amsterdam to our city will be required to wear masks on the flight and in Cape Town International airport on landing. Passengers flying to Amsterdam are not required to wear masks on the flight nor at Schiphol airport. Passengers arriving in Amsterdam only need to show proof of vaccination. No tests or quarantines are required.
The Netherlands is the fifth largest passenger market for Cape Town, having received 27000 visitors last year, reports Airspace Africa.
