Anatoli Mediterranean Restaurant has launched a 5 course Winter Tasting Menu, with a Vegetarian option, at R265 per person.
Anatoli is one of Cape Town’s oldest restaurants, and has evolved from a Turkish restaurant into a Mediterranean restaurant.
Its Mezze tray is one of the highlights of eating at the restaurant, and has been offered since the restaurant opened 38 years ago.
The five course Winter Tasting Menu is as follows:
1st Course
Roast tomato, chickpea and Harissa soup with garlic yoghurt and a basil pesto stuffed bun
2nd Course
Gnocchi, prawn bisque with chive crème fraiche
3rd Course
Parmesan and herb crusted line fish with green pea risotto and garlic cream
4th Course
Beef short rib, whole-grain mustard mash, broccolini, cumin caramelised shallot and jus
5th Course
Warm apple, carrot and beetroot polenta cake, rhubarb gel, honey and hazelnut ice cream
The Vegetarian Tasting Menu also costs R265:
1st Course

Tempura broccoli stem, garlic aioli
3rd Course
Grilled Halloumi, cumin and Turkish fig compote
4th Course

Warm apple, carrot and beetroot polenta cake, rhubarb gel, honey and hazelnut ice cream
Anatoli offers an À la Carte menu, and is Halaal-friendly.
