The Leeu Collection has appointed Hector de Galard as its Managing Director, on the eve of the opening of the first of the new Leeu Collection accommodation properties, being Leeu House in Franschhoek.
Since Max Ventures’ Mr Analjit Singh started investing in Franschhoek, Mr de Galard has worked on the Leeu Collection project as President of Business Operations for the past three years.
The Leeu Collection consists of Leeu House, which opens on the Franschhoek main road on 1 December; Leeu Estates, a luxury boutique hotel on the outskirts of Franschhoek, opens next year; the recently purchased Le Quartier Français on the main road; and has a partnership with Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines.
Mr de Galard is an expert of 20 years standing in ‘launching and operating innovative, world-class hotels and resorts and delivering the best luxury service’.
