The Sweet Service Award goes to Labotessa Café at the Labotessa Boutique Hotel, and its owner Johan du Plessis, for making me a cup of tea and serving their fabulous apple tart and cream after the kitchen closing time of 16h00 last week. We had a lovely chat, he would not accept payment for the tea treat, and he sent me home with a wonderful gift of their exclusive French Diptyque bathroom amenities.
The Sour Service Award goes to Discovery, for capping all point rewards for health and exercise activities after 30000 points, a demotivating effect on me, having reached close to 33000 points to date, and receiving nothing at all now. One would think that it is in Discovery’s interest that we remain super fit and heathy throughout the year. Ultimately one wants to reach Diamond Status at 50000 points.
