Carrol Boyes MCCWine distributor Vinimark has just launched a new addition to the lifestyle and home design brand Carrol Boyes Collection, its Gold Label Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) 2012, described as a ‘union of art and wine making‘.

The MCC is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with grapes coming from Franschhoek, and made by winemaker Henrik Snyman of Barnardt Boyes.  The wine was kept on the lees for 28 months before disgorgement. It is described as ‘elegant with a fine mousse, a delegate bouquet of summer fruits and a hint of biscuit and citrus follows onto a dry and well-balanced palate. Nuances of almonds and freshly-baked bread fill the mouth and linger on the aftertaste‘.  The new MCC joins the Carrol Boyes Collection of Private Collection MCC 2011, Cape Blend 2012, and Shiraz 2012.

The Carrol Boyes luxury gift brand is iconic, not only in our country but is also exported to 30 countries.

The Carrol Boyes Collection Gold Label MCC 2012 has a distinctive gold aluminum label. It is available at select supermarkets and wine retailers at R200. Tel (021) 883-8043. www.vinimark.co.za
