Multichoice Sweet Service and Nedbank Sour Service Awards!

multichoiceThe Sweet Service Award goes to Multichoice, and its Technical Support Supervisor Multichoice Southern Region Justin Linley, for proactively reacting to a Sour Service Award which went to Action TV, a Multichoice-approved supplier.  He requested feedback about the installation, and had promised to come and check it at my property, but did not do so in the end.  He said that I would be called by Action TV, but the owner and I had difficulty in understanding each other.  He never called back.

NedbankThe Sour Service Award goes to Nedbank Business Banking Tygerberg Winelands and the Manager of its Credit Division Gawie Schoeman, of whom I had requested copies of four bond statements for a specified 4-month period between 2014/2015, the usual contact person having taken the week between Human Rights Day and Easter off. As a typical manager Gawie delegated this to Leanne Koch without checking what she was sending me – 20 pages or more of statements for two bonds only for the incorrect period! I had to call him back three times to organise getting the correct bond statements I had asked him for 24 hours prior! He was downright rude too, and it is a relief to no longer have to do business with Nedbank!

The WhaleTales Sweet & Sour Service Awards are presented every Friday on the WhaleTales blog. Nominations for the Sweet and Sour Service Awards can be sent to Chris von Ulmenstein at whalecot@iafrica.com.
