Wizardz Sweet Service Award; Senior Advocate André Bosman Sour Service Award!

The Sweet Service Award goes to Wizardz, and its assistant Yumnah, who assisted me in the layout and first print run of my first book ‘SwitchBitch: My journey of transformation from Sour to Sweet’. I had a deadline for the launch for 20 December, and I was in Yumnah’s hands to get the copies printed and bound by the day before. I received a message on the 15th already, telling me that the books were ready for collection at the Garden Centre branch. This was unexpectedly good service. In a very quick turnaround time, the staff was also able to print a small amount of menus onto the photograph of the book cover, which meant that I did not have to wait for them or return to fetch them!

My Book ‘SwitchBitch: My journey of transformation from Sour to Sweet!’ has been launched!

The Sour Service Award goes to Senior Advocate André Bosman of the Pretoria Bar, with his daughter Elani, and their disparagement and harassment towards me in an incident of shopping centre rage in the V&A Waterfront parking on Saturday 23 December.  The parking was exceptionally full, with no space on the Pick ‘n Pay side, where I needed to be. I drove to the Woolworths side, and tried to find parking within Washworks, where there is usually a bay available. There was nothing. Then I saw a couple and their adult daughter, the wife in a wheelchair, putting shopping bags into a Jeep CA 721217. I waited very patiently for them to pack their shopping into their Jeep, and for the wife in a wheelchair to be lifted into the car. I had to wait while the husband went to return the wheelchair somewhere in the centre, taking at least 20 minutes. Not one of the party told me this, but I was prepared to wait until I could use the bay. Other drivers shouted at me impatiently for being in the way, but did get past my car in their massive SUVs. The daughter must have told the father about all the commotion in his absence, and he walked up to my car, and gave me an earful too, threatening to flatten my car when he reverses. He then asked my name, and I refused to give it to him. He came to my driver’s side, and shoved his phone in my face (my car roof was open) to photograph me, telling me that he is ‘Senior Advocate Bosman’, as if that should intimidate me. His phone fell onto my lap, and he rudely groped me while he grabbed it from my lap right into my car! He drove out of the bay as slowly as he could, I having waited patiently for half an hour for this parking space. Google shows me he is Andre Bosman, SC at the Pretoria Bar! The daughter does Public Relations for eazi.com. I posted the incident on my Facebook page, as an example of shopping centre rage and lack of respect for others over the festive period. Had Bosman not given me his details voluntarily, I would not have found his name and contact number. Both father and daughter posted abusive untruthful comments to my Post, necessitating me to remove their comments, and to change the post setting to Private.
