The Sweet Service Award goes to Woolworths in Cavendish Square, and its assistant Lunathi Daba, for her excellent service in assisting me in finding clothes in different sections of the store, and helping me carry all my shopping items, all with a friendly smile. It is a surprise when one receives such excellent service, not being the norm in the Woolworths branches I normally frequent.
The Sour Service Award goes to Incredible Connection. I could not get through to the Canal Walk Mall by phone, the branch at which I had bought a laptop. I hence phoned a central number which took me to the Call Centre. I requested a copy of the invoice as proof of purchase of a Samsung laptop for insurance purposes, lost in a theft. I was told that if I could not recall the exact date of purchase they could not help me. This was in contrast to Apple iStore, which could track the details of the purchase of an iPad via my company name, which had been lost in the same theft.
