Western Cape Province and Wesgro invite locals to visit the Cape with #WeAreOpen campaign!

 

September has traditionally become Tourism Month, starting with Spring Day on 1 September. While the weather is not playing along for visitors at the moment, it is heartening to see the Western Cape Province and Wesgro working together to invite South Africans to visit the Cape, launching its #WeAreOpen’ marketing campaign today.

Coinciding with the start of Tourism Month is the reopening of the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, as well as the Two Oceans Aquarium. A host of museums throughout the province have opened too.  Continue reading →

Greyton Tourism Bureau Sweet Service and Cape Town Traffic Department Sour Service Award!

The Sweet Service Award goes to the Greyton Tourism Bureau and its Manager Roslyn Petersen, who made attending the Greyton Classic Music Festival such a pleasure, in booking our accommodation, and the tickets for the concerts we wanted to attend. She even helped book a restaurant for the Saturday, after The Post House cancelled the reservation we had already made for the dinner.  Continue reading →

Classics for All Festival 2017 a high note for Greyton!

This past weekend my son visiting from the U.K. and I attended the 13th Classics for All Festival in Greyton, the second year that I have attended the Festival dedicated to classical music.
