Cape Town named one of 53 Best Cities in the World by TimeOut!

 

TimeOut has named Cape Town one of its 53 Best Cities in the world, nominated by 20000 city-dwellers subscribing to the publication.

I am proud to be one of the subscribers who nominated our city, asked to identify the top restaurants and bars, theatre, art galleries, the nightlife, and the cool neighborhoods. In its calculation of the  TimeOut Index 2022, the publication added the livability of the city as a resident as well as a tourist this year. Continue reading →

Corona Lockdown Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a warm day with a moderate South Easter; for getting up early and posting for my clients, and preparing for client Status meetings; for a Jason’s croissant breakfast at home with the boys; for bravely going to my gentle ophthalmologist to book two eye ops a week apart, the first on Tuesday, my first ever use of Discovery to cover any medical costs 💙 ; for a lovely Zest lunch to spoil Justin Miller on his birthday, having helped him get the job at newkings boutique hotel 💙; for good Status meetings at Zest and newkings; for a quick shop at Woolies Piazza da Luz; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Camps Bay one of 51 Blue Flag Beaches in SA 2021/2022!

 

Camps Bay and Clifton 4th Beach have been announced as Blue Flag Status Beaches for the 2021/2022 season, two out of only ten Beaches 8n total in Cape Town, reports BusinessTech. 

According to The Wildlife & Environment Society of South Africa (WESSA), Blue Flags will be flown at 51 beaches, five marinas and by four sustainable tourism boats around South Africa over the forthcoming 2021/22 Blue Flag season.

The Western Cape province has 36 Blue Flag Beaches, with five new beaches added, including Onrus, Struisbaai, and WIlderness. KZN has 8 Blue Flag Beaches, and the Eastern Cape has 7 such Beaches.  Continue reading →
