The Sweet Service Award goes to Country Road’s Regional Manager Trevone, who came to my rescue when I reported the shocking service I received at the Country Road V & A Waterfront branch, from its store manager Zoelva Brewer. I had arrived at the store just after its opening at 9h00 last week, and put down a top from the Country Road section at the Trenery counter, wandering off to look at a cardigan close by. When I returned to the counter, the top was still lying there despite a staff member standing behind the counter. No other staff member was present, other than two chattering security staff at the opposite end of the store, squeezing the pimples on their face at the mirror! SAA Sweet Service Award; Country Road Sour Service Award!
The Sweet Service Award goes to SAA, and its crew on the flight from London to Johannesburg on 27 February. It was a very empty flight, and the staff was extremely friendly in looking after us. Nothing was too much trouble. The only thing that did not work was the cellphone charger, the hostess telling us honestly that it does not work throughout the plane! It was a concern for tourism that the plane was only one quarter full
Poetry Sweet Service Award and Country Road Sour Service Award!
The Sweet Service Award goes to Poetry in the V & A Waterfront, and its Trainee Lynn. Lynn impressed with her proactiveness in finding a different size dress at the Cavendish branch, and encouraging me to buy two dresses to make use of the special offer the clothing store was offering just before the Festive days. Dealing with a number of clothing shops at that time, Lynn’s service was far superior to that experienced at other clothing stores.
