Restaurants offering Sit-Down service in Cape Town and Winelands in Lockdown Level 3: a First List!
On Monday restaurants were allowed to reopen for Sit-Down Service, after having only been allowed to offer a Food Delivery service from May, and a Food and Alcohol Delivery and Collection Service from June onwards.
I have been requested to prepare a list of Restaurants offering a Sit-Down Service, in addition to the Facebook Group which I created of Restaurants offering Food and Alcohol Delivery and Collection. Restaurant Winter chill sets in, first restaurants close in Cape Town: July 2017!
SeaBreeze Fish & Shell, The Sunnyside Grill, and the Crazy Horse Gastropub are three new restaurants which opened in Cape Town during June. Two Hout Bay restaurants have closed down as the Winter chill sets in! Über creative Pastry Chef André Steyn has joined La Colombe.

No new restaurants open in Cape Town and Winelands, iconic The Tasting Room closes down in Franschhoek : May 2017!
It would appear that there were no new restaurant openings in Cape Town and the Winelands during April. Iconic restaurant The Tasting Room at Le Quartier Français closed it doors at the end of April, after many years of operation under the guidance of Chef Margot Janse.
