#grateful for a sunny morning, enjoying sitting in the sun with Dilmah tea at The 42, spoilt by Manager Emma and chatting to owner Giles; for being me-focused, letting go of the busyness of this week; for surviving another noisy tenant evening in our building; for two walks, one to Camps Bay, to The 41 and to Woolies, and the other a late afternoon one to Bakoven, the rain clouds rolling in for the next wave (pardon the pun) of rain forecast, a whole week’s worth, maybe not too bad if we won’t be able to go anywhere ….; and for being happy, healthy, and free. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

Restaurant Winter Specials: Cape Town and Winelands (10 June 2021)

 

The Winter months are always tough on restaurants, as diners are not keen to leave their homes when it is cold and wet. With the reduced trade, added to Loadshedding,  and the earlier Curfew start time, restaurants are keen to attract business by offering Winter specials.
