Corona Lockdown Gratitude š
#grateful for a busy and successful day; for posting for my clients this morning and preparing for two Status meetings; for Alex finally getting hold of BA via Twitter, all other phone call attempts failing, and costing R300 in holding on and on and on, or the calls unanswered, with the sad news that they cannot delay their flight by one day, so itās back to the UK tomorrow š„²; for getting my restrung pearls delivered to my home by Timeless Pearls ā¤ļø; for collecting my post at Vlaeberg Post Office and leaving a message with the Manager of the Branch from āBox 20ā (previously at the Waterfront); for getting my booster vax done quickly and efficiently, with hardly anyone at Somerset Hospital, with no sore arm at all; for risking fitting in a visit to the Department of Home Affairs to see the Citizenship man (only one there), who decided to take lunch from 14h00 – 14h45, so I tried to wait patiently, receiving forms to complete, getting to my client meeting 5 minutes late; for Utopia being fully booked for Valentineās Day before we even posted our menu and price š; for rushing off to Gibsonās at the Waterfront, it being our inaugural Thursday Happy Hour and Sax in the City with George Sax, weekly for the next three months, with a wonderful vibe and good support, seeing Rufus Scholtz and his wife at Mitchellās on my way, stopping for a chat; for a calamari starter and salad at Gibsonās, not having eaten all day; for rushing to Zest Restaurant, to meet Ute Hermanus and her mother Marjorie, Ute being a part-time presenter of āCape Town After Darkā on Good Hope FM, sleeping over at newkings boutique hotel and eating at Zest this evening, sitting with them for a while; for a very beautiful sunset on my way home; for an increase in the repo rate; and for being happy, healthy and free. šš
