Corona Lockdown Gratitude šŸ™

#grateful for a fabulous day, that just became better as the day progressed; for being able to do a Bakoven walk on a day with very strong wind, the wind having died down somewhat over lunch time; for preparing a proposal for a prospective client, loving writing it as it is different to the work I do for my other clients; for a meeting at Labotessa Hotel & CafĆ©, loving their tea and Appeltaart spoil šŸ’™ ; for a photograph session at Anatoli, for its participation in Restaurant Week running from today Continue reading →

Corona Lockdown Gratitude šŸ™

#grateful for a lovely cool day, at 19C, with unexpected rain at lunchtime, and a misty end of the day in Camps Bay, so cold that I bought ingredients at Woolies for my first pot of soup of the year; for preparing for four clients, meeting at two locations, all going well, and receiving praise from the owner of the second one for how well things are going; for another Appeltaart and TWG tea treat at Labotessa Hotel & CafĆ©, just loving this hidden gem on Church Square, and having a meeting with Continue reading →

Corona Lockdown Gratitude šŸ™

#grateful for a slightly scary day turning into a fabulous day, getting better as the day progressed; for preparing Status Reports for Utopia and Anatoli, but not being able to print them as my right hand could not get to work today, getting it done at Wizardz in the Waterfront ; for getting an implant tooth replaced, made by my dentist with his high-tech 3D machine, being able to smile again šŸ’™; for short and sweet Status meetings; for deciding to have a belated breakfast at Labotessa Hotel & CafĆ© Continue reading →

Corona Lockdown Gratitude šŸ™

#grateful for a hot Summerā€™s day, peaking at 34C, therefore going for a very early walk to Woolies, only having slept for 4 hours, after so much sleep yesterday; for a mega security camera installation started in our Ebbtide apartment block today, allowed to help choose where the 9 cameras must go, this issue having caused great stress last week, more installation work lying ahead for tomorrow; for a busy work morning; for getting caught up in a Netflix series ā€˜Inventing Annaā€™, another swindle story; for photographing Valentineā€™s Day diners and dishes at Anatoli, Utopia, and Zezt, all three restaurants busy this evening; for a Valentineā€™s Day spoil Dairy Den ice cream ā¤ļø; and for being happy, healthy and free. šŸ™šŸ’™
