Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for a very relaxed day; for it being sunny, but a very windy day, so I walked with Carmen from my cleaning team up to First Beach Clifton, picking up litter from Glen Beach onwards, being more wind-protected in Clifton; for a quick pop in at Pick n Pay to get my Daily Maverick 368, with hardly any customers 👏; for a spoil croissant at Firefly Café, loving that Manager Jason came to sit down at my table to chat, not having seen each other in a month 💙; for Vit D therapy on my terrace this afternoon; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
My 10000 step goal was easily met today with the distance covered up to Clifton First Beach.
I wrote Councillor Nicola Jowell a long list of things that need to be attended to in Camps Bay, not having wanted to disturb her over the Festive days.

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
