Corona Gratitude 🙏

#grateful for a sunny day, with morning mist, not too warm at 17C; for being organized work wise and getting what I needed to done; for two Zoom meetings today, Camps Bay & Clifton Ratepayers Association committee meeting being very useful for a problem which arose today with regard to the weekend extreme noise disruption in our block; for two walks, one up the Houghton steps, needing a good stress release; and for being happy, healthy, and free. 🙏💙

My Blogpost today was about Chef Jan-Hendrik van der Westhuizen winning his first SA restaurant awards, three in one go!

Chef Jan-Hendrik van der Westhuizen wins three Awards at the 2021 Luxe Restaurant Awards!

I received no apology from Sacha Jack of Ebbtide 201 for the noise disruption caused by her renters the whole weekend and even now, even though she clearly received my emails and What’s Apps requesting assistance.

I felt good in writing a strongly worded letter to the Trustees and Sandak-Lewin about the planned R1 million maintenance of our building. 😱💙

So foggy tonight that I cannot see the lights across the bay. The foghorn is so loud that it feels like I’m in Mouille Point.
