Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for a rainy wintry day ☔️, not too cold at 17C, enjoying working in my bed all morning, facing my annual headache of and preparing for the apartment Body Corporate AGM taking place in a week; for a peaceful day; for a rain break early this afternoon, allowing me a Camps Bay walk and buying cat food for Minsky and having a good chat with Bukeka at Absolute Pets; for another walk to Bakoven this afternoon; for Minsky not being adventurous when she was allowed outside 🙏; for lovely chats with Michele Antelme and Jenny Stephens; for enjoying my self-cooked supper; for another fabulous concert by Hope@Home on Tour with singer Tim Bendzko, oh wow, performed in the Muschelgrotte in Potsdam in my Heimatland; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
I actually love AGMs, pulling things apart and questioning things…. but not facing my three fellow Trustees online plus the very incompetent Portfolio Manager looking after our building, especially as he has never set foot in it in a year since taking over our account. Die vonke gaan spat 😡😱 Im taking some reinforcement with me.
Camps Bay was very deserted, and there was minimal litter. 🙏 I couldn’t stop laughing seeing a pet pram at Absolute Pets. I’ve never seen one used before. 😊

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, and lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
