Corona Gratitude ๐Ÿ™

#Grateful for another fabulous day, so misty this morning that it looked as if it would rain, but it cleared this afternoon; for a good challenging Blogpost written today, which just flowed; for getting more Body Corporate AGM work done; for a good walk to 4th Beach in Clifton, with minimal litter ๐Ÿ™ ; for a quick small shop at Pick n Pay; for getting a waxing appointment at Sorbet when they open tomorrow ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘; for Minsky climbing her first tree, and getting down it again, a challenge initially ๐Ÿฑ; for being calm and peaceful; for fabulous sunsets tonight; and for being happy and healthy. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’™

My Blogpost today resulted from a challenge by Liesbet van Wyk, asking me to project what it will be like to eat at a local restaurant from 1 July again. It just flowed ๐Ÿ™

Corona Lockdown: What will it be like to eat at a SA restaurant from 1 July?

I spoke to Wendy Alberts, CEO of the Restaurant Association of SA for the first time today. They are trying to get iconic restaurants which have closed down during the Lockdown to be resurrected, with foreign and local funds.

I found out who the moneybag men were in Camps Bay on Friday, all above-board but the money can be channeled better. They have been handing out bucks in Sea Point too. ๐Ÿ™

My new Cat Minsky is becoming increasingly adventurous since being allowed outside in just over a week, having never been allowed outside before in the two years of her life. She scurried up a tree on our property, but then struggled to get down. In a photograph I took it looks as if she was flying down the tree!

I had to laugh with two lady shoppers at Pick n Pay, who felt even colder in their puffer jackets when they saw me in my shorts and sleeveless top..I told them that you warm up the minute you start walking. ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

The Camps Bay police station is closed for 48 hours due to a new infection of one if its staff, the second time in a week.

SA Corona Status: 101590 cases 1991 deaths ๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿ˜ฅ

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, and lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
