President Ramaphosa announced an extension by another two weeks of the Level 4 Lockdown in a speech to the nation this evening.
However he announced excellent news for the restaurant industry.

#grateful for a day of lots of wind and rain, and few photographs and steps 😱; for preparing for two Status meetings this morning, not getting a midday walk as it started raining at that time, and it never stopped, pouring when I had to enter Anatoli Turkish Restaurant, waiting in the car; for a spoil Status meeting, with a huge pot of Dilmah Earl Grey tea and biscuits; for collecting my rolls at Dinkel Bakery, and a Lamb Curry Dinner treat at Café Charles to share for dinner with Gary Peterson; for a delightful Cointreau tea with dinner and an apple blueberry tart with Woolies custard mmmmm….. #Grateful for another fabulous day, so misty this morning that it looked as if it would rain, but it cleared this afternoon; for a good challenging Blogpost written today, which just flowed; for getting more Body Corporate AGM work done; for a good walk to 4th Beach in Clifton, with minimal litter 🙏 ; for a quick small shop at Pick n Pay; for getting a waxing appointment at Sorbet when they open tomorrow 👏👏👏; for Minsky climbing her first tree, and getting down it again, a challenge initially 🐱; for being calm and peaceful; for fabulous sunsets tonight; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙 Continue reading →

#Grateful for another beautiful day, in the mid-20C, sunny, warm, and a joy to be outside; for a walk in Camps Bay, popping in at Absolute Pets to say hello to Bubeka and sharing the Minsky cat escapades 🐱 with her, and buying a replacement alarm battery from Camps Bay Hardware, Jared always offering extra special service and resident prices; for a long Vit D dose on the terrace; for bumping into Linda Ransome and #eyecandy on my walk; for a second walk to Bakoven later this afternoon; for the nice photos which Danish Marlena sent me today, edited versions of those she took yesterday; for a Gameboard play on Discovery Vitality today; for darling Minsky coming back inside when I let her out this afternoon without giving me another heart attack as she did last night 🐱; and for feeling happy and healthy. 🙏💙
