Monday 18 January 2021, Day 22 of Level 3 Adjusted, Day 299 of Lockdown. 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for a beautiful day at 28C without a breath of wind; for a very busy working day despite very little sleep; for putting up a good defence against the extreme rudeness and discrimination against Henry by one of our Trustees, who manipulated herself into becoming our so-called Chairman when I was overseas, the lack of sleep probably helping me in what I had to say to her; for the excitement of running a competition for HQ Utopia with Dineplan and InstaEats, the latter with 44000 odd Followers, entries flowing in like crazy, with hundreds of new Followers for us on our first day, carrying on until Friday, being on my Instagram all day; for a Zoom meeting of our Camps Bay Ratepayers Association this afternoon; for a very late walk to Camps Bay, with little litter to pick up and still only a 10% mask wearing 😷🥵; for being able to type this during Lockdown; for a wow 500 Discovery points for my brisk Camps Bay walk, with an excellent heart rate; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
My Blogpost today was about the very weak response of the Restaurant Association of SA to the trauma in which the restaurant industry finds itself, proposing two hashtags for all Social Media posts! And for not getting ‘extend the Curfew’, writing it to mean the opposite.
What a horrid Trustee we have owning one of the apartments, shocking how disparaging she is to our ever professional Henry, wanting to do him out of R120 per month when I proposed a 6% salary increase for him, and she insisted on the CPI at 4%. 🥵🥵🥵
I could discuss the Cleaning team organisation and funding in my Ratepayers Association meeting, carrying this burden for almost a week already. I received praise for both the Cleaning project from Councillor Nicola Jowell, and for my Marketing of the Association and for my Camps Bay photographs I post.
I saw the sunset on my walk, getting some good sunset shots.
Minsky barely slept inside last night, coming in at 5h00, and then I could finally fall asleep, being so worried about her. She is slightly less angry. Mr Grey is just too cute, his sixth day with us. 😻😻
It’s really dark outside without any street lighting. Without electricity and therefore no music I cannot get to my step quota today. 😱
PS Our power has just came back on, getting a 90 minute ‘discount’. ❤️
SA Corona Status 1 346 936 cases 37449 deaths 😷🥲
FitBit 8000 steps 5,5 km 👣
Lovemylife❤️
The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, and moved back to Adjusted Level 3 from 29 December, and extended to 15 February on 11 January, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
