Tuesday 28 April 2020, Day 44 of SA Corona Virus, Day 33 of SA Lockdown 😷

Corona Gratitude 🙏

#Grateful for a perfect day, at 24C, so much so that my feet were itching to do a shopping walk, and for my German discipline to stay strong, and wait until tomorrow, when I fetch my new cotton masks; for the wonderful interest in the new Facebook page of Take-Away Food Deliveries, with at least 50 restaurants listed already, and nearing 1000 members, eagerly awaiting their first restaurant order delivery on Friday, I having ordered mine too; for a number of calls today; for successfully divorcing Auto & General today, after a small complication with a broker was easily overcome; for reducing the content of my fridge, after an over-ambitious shop at the start of Lockdown, always being grateful for ordering items from Woolies in Camps Bay, when they are out of stock; for the lovely eye candy walking past my place, one in particular with a greet and a chat across the street … ❤️; for dancing 💃 to Kfm throughout the day, and more to come tonight; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙

I wrote a Blogpost about the commendable Eat Out Restaurant Relief Fund, which is helping fund those restaurants cooking meals for the destitute communities. 👏👏👏

Corona Virus Lockdown: Eat Out helps out with Restaurant Relief Fund for restaurants making food for destitute!

I listened to an interview on Kfm with Premier Alan Winde. This has been turned into a rumour that our area/city/province will remain at Level 5 on Friday, with big anger and anxiety, as the Premier announced that he could turn the province back to Level 5 if the number of infections deem it necessary. But he did not say he would do so on Friday. It definitely got my heart rate moving upwards.

I definitely have a Love/Hate relationship with Discovery. I was promised a call a week ago to add a Hermanus building insurance, but heard nothing. Today I called again, asking to speak to the same person. He seemed to have forgotten about his promise to call last week. He then excused himself, needing to get something, promising to call in a few minutes…. three hours later and I’m still waiting… 🥵

I’m calling my walk/dancing Couch-Robics: 20 steps per lap around the couch, 500 laps = 10000 steps 👣

The Photograph was taken at 7h00, an early start to the day.

Corona Virus Status: 4996 cases, 93 deaths 😷😥

FitBit 13000 steps 9 km 👣

Lovemylife ❤️

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier this week to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, and lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
