#Grateful for a sunny 23C after such a cloudy grey weekend, feeling far more energized, and still warm enough for the terrace doors to be open; for a good writing morning; for a strenuous walk, taking a completely different route for a change, halfway up Camps Bay Drive and then through Bakoven, photographing pretty flowers on the way, and rewarded with 300 Discovery points; for being able to offer some legal advice to a friend in need; for a peaceful day; and for being happy and healthy. 🙏💙
I loved reliving the Tasting Menu dinner Stuart Bailey and I enjoyed at Homespun by Matt last week, writing the story about it this morning. Happy to hear that the restaurant received a booking just after I posted it.

I shopped for cat food and litter online this afternoon, not wanting to go through a repeat of a Checkers Sea Point store purchase. I tried Checkers 60 Minutes, to be delivered tomorrow morning first thing, for the mix of Whiskas jelly pouches which my cats adore; and ordered Whiskas pellets and Cat’s Best Cat Litter from Takealot. So easy, and keeps me out of the supermarkets. 😷

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, and lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
