Monday 16 November 2020, Day 57 of Level 1, Day 235 of Lockdown 😷
Corona Gratitude 🙏
#Grateful for a busy working day, well executed against a Do List; for a lovely sunny day, the South Easter having picked up now; for a walk in Camps Bay, seeing a sign announcing the opening soon of Crème de la Crème Gourmet Desserts next door to the new Starbucks opening next month…. oi vey 😱; for a walk through Bakoven, taking some pics at Beta Beach; for my Discovery Pick n Pay voucher working in Camps Bay; for dancing to Kfm, and for being happy and healthy 🙏💙
This morning I completed and posted my story about Day 2 of the Wellington Wine Walk, not only tasting about 20 wines, including an unusual Doolhof Malbec Gin, as well as various coffees roasted in Wellington, and good country food too.
Wellington Wine Walk: Day 2 not just about Wines, but about Coffee, Gin, and Country food too!
Checkers Head Office called this afternoon, a Natalie being quite aggressive about my Sour Service Award of Saturday, making me out to be stupid in not understanding their Checkers60 Minute App. I explained that it was my first order. I don’t get that they use terms we as customers don’t understand, harping on about the ‘Replacement Journey’ I need to understand! In the end I put down the phone, there being no kindness nor apology! I did say to her that Checkers is committing Marketing fraud, for not living up to its time claim, and for not having a stock system to check real-time what the availability of the ordered products is. She blamed everything on Covid Lockdown. 😷😱🥵
Carte Blanche producer Michael Duffet contacted me, requesting an exact time line regarding my experiences with the company under investigation by them. Luckily I could work this out via my Blogposts dating back to 2013.
All the yellow plastic broken fence protectors have come down again! Not sure if it’s the wind or mischief makers. 😱
More Hope @ Home classical music from Berlin at 20h00 this evening. 🎶😊

The Corona Virus Lockdown (Level 5), announced by our President Cyril Ramaphosa earlier to commence on 27 March and to continue until 16 April, subsequently extended to 30 April, lowered to Level 4 from 1 May, lowered to Level 3 from 1 June, lowered to Level 2 from 18 August, and lowered to Level 1 from 21 September, is an unprecedented event in my lifetime. I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
