Monday 27 December 2021, Public Holiday, Day 88 of Level 1 😷
Corona Lockdown Gratitude 🙏
#grateful for wonderful rain overnight and this morning, just what we wished for from a litter perspective, but then the sun came out and the Tidal pool picnickers arrived 😱; for a working morning, posting for my clients; for a refreshing cool Bakoven walk after putting out the Ebbtide rubbish bins as our Building Manager Henry had the public holiday off; for a Camps Bay walk to Woolies this afternoon, being accessible again after a no-go area this past weekend; for bumping into Andreas Jo and Oliver Fu and having a long catch up chat; for some litter cleaning on my way home; for a relaxing evening with a gin and sparkling grapefruit; and for being happy, healthy and free. 🙏💙
The upstairs renters from London had the whole SA family around for all-day lunch, leaving a horde of screeching cousins to themselves on the terrace above me, while the parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles went for a walk, while I was trying to work. The dad was quite sweet when I addressed the noise and the grandpa offered me a glass of wine, but it was far too early for such a bribe. Now all is peaceful again. 🙏
New ‘Traumschiff’ programs are on ZDF, with a related Honeymoon series, and I loved watching a boat trip to Crete, where I haven’t been, last night.

I am posting my daily Facebook post to journal this Corona Lockdown Journey, perhaps to serve as material for a future Book.
