Corona Gratitude š
#grateful for a beautiful day, starting with good rain, and clearing to a 19C day; for being able to escape Loadshedding at 8h00 by having breakfast with Viv Warby at Zest, loving Chef Evidenceās breakfast, mine a Zest breakfast with scrambled egg and Vivās Avo and feta on toast with halloumi on the side; for work when I returned, most of my posts being in honour of #PinotageDay today; for a glorious sleep, even though I had a solid 8 hour sleep last night š; for a Bakoven walk; for a good Discovery Insure Cashback on my petrol and car insurance premium š; for a lovely dinner with Mia Moorcroft of Dineplan, a super special supplier to my clients, to introduce her to Zest, very busy tonight; for seeing my step niece Romy Gordon at Zest, so lovely to catch up and a fan of Zest too; for Michael MacKenzie coming to say hello at Zest, staying over at the newkings boutique hotel tonight; for lovely Kfm Blokparty music to dance to for my last daily steps; and for being happy, healthy, and free. šš
Isnāt it lovely to see life getting closer to normality? A busy city due to tomorrowās Cycle Tour, our first major event in Cape Town, my Alex sending his booking confirmation for a January visit, for a drive from Camps Bay to Zest taking half an hour due to crazy traffic as well as last minute cycle trainers; for starting to think about my own travel plans for next year, for knowing first people travelling overseas, and moreā¦.. A little scary too. We have been in a safe protected bubble for the last 18 months. š·
Caught by surprise by Loadshedding at midnight. š±
