The Sweet Service Award goes to Absolute Pets, for the continuous friendly service from Bukeka, the Manager of the Camps Bay Branch. Earlier this week she gave a trial pack of their house brand Lokuno for my cats to try, when she heard that I was buying them a commercial brand, and they absolutely love it. I will be going back to buy a regular size pack for them.
The Sour Service Award goes to Checkers Head Office, and its ‘Customer Service’ person Natalie, who called me earlier this week after the retailer received a Sour Service Award for its Checkers60 minute delivery promise, which was misleading, and for sending fewer boxes of cat food than ordered. She was forceful, rude in implying that I did not understand their delivery times (they are not mentioned and it was my first delivery order through the retailer), and kept repeating that I did not understand their ‘replacement journey’, not explaining what this meant. What was intended to be a service call to switch my perception of the retailer’s service around to a positive one, has become even more negative, it being unlikely that I will use the delivery service again.
